The Planika Room is the room most guests at SPA HOTEL KANIN BOVEC will wake up in, and it is not treated as the entry-level compromise. Every room in the category has either a panoramic view or a balcony of its own, which means there is no version of this room that faces a wall.
Nineteen to twenty-three square metres, depending on where the room sits in the building. The bed is made up as a double or a twin, so the room works for a couple and for two friends without a change of category or a conversation at reception.
What it does not have is anything asking to be noticed. Smart TV, premium toiletries, coffee and tea, and then the mountain. The panoramic pool and the fitness area are included, so a swim after a day on Kanin needs no booking and no decision.

A VIEW OR A BALCONY, NEVER NEITHER
Every Planika Room has one or the other. Which one depends on where the room sits in the Lajovic building, and it is confirmed with the reservation rather than left as a surprise on arrival. The balcony rooms face the valley. The panoramic rooms trade the outdoor step for a larger window, which in February is not obviously the worse deal.
DOUBLE OR TWIN, DECIDED BY YOU
The room is made up either way. Say which when you book and it is ready when you arrive, without the category changing or the rate moving. It removes a common friction: two people travelling together should not have to book a suite to avoid sharing a bed.
